Our dear neighborhood friend from East Norman Oklahoma has just been written up in the Norman Transcript. We are so excited for her and will promote her wherever we can! Keep it up Alexis!!!! Go check out her website Knit Darling.

Currently a resident of Brooklyn, New York, with her advertising executive spouse Brian Cantrell, also of Norman, Winslow is busy building a design empire. She has achieved significant recognition both as employee of an established textile design firm and independently as the CEO of Knit Darling. Winslow has used her skills not just knitting garments but also by designing patterns for those who do.

She’s included on Knitting Daily’s “10 Designers to Watch in 2011: Knitscene’s Hot List.”

They wrote about her, “A painter from Oklahoma living in Brooklyn, where a loveable hipster chic has worked its way into hand-knitting design, Alexis Winslow is definitely one for the modern knitter to watch. She has some clever accessories coming up in Knitscene.” read more

Carol Armstrong’s Western Paintings

Carol is like a second mother to us. We’ve always admired her artistic abilities. We’d really like to see her work showcased out here in California. We think it’d go great either in a San Juan Capistrano or Laguna Beach art gallery. If you have any contacts in these areas please contact us or Carol Armstrong at her website carolarmstrong.net. For the meantime check out the paintings below!!!
